Q. How do I know what size cover to choose?

A. We manufacture two types of covers: Universal and Custom. Universal Covers are cut in various lengths, and are designed to fit a variety of vehicles within a specific size group. Custom Covers are designed for a specific car, and will only fit that car. Most Custom Covers come with mirror pockets; Universal Covers do not. Instead of listing thousands of vehicles for custom applications on our price chart and order form, we have put them into price groups. If you are unsure about which price group pertains to your vehicle, please e-mail .

When placing an order for a Universal or Custom Cover, please list the year, make, and model of the vehicle in the instructions section of the order. We will then check your order to be certain that you have ordered the proper size Universal /Custom Cover. In the case of a Custom Cover order, we will use information in the instructions section to select the proper pattern for your vehicle. Any body modifications should be listed here. If your vehicle is unique, or and early model, we may ask you to complete a dimension sheet.

Q. What type of fabric should I choose?

A. It depends greatly on how the vehicle will be stored. We have listed below many of the features and benefits of each fabric type to help you decide which fabric will suit your needs best.

WeatherAll^®:
This material is very light, yet highly water resistant and durable. It is breathable, so there is no chance of staining or harming the paintwork. The polyester/cotton woven base cloth provides durability while the outer layers provide water repellency and UV protection. The polyester/cotton fabric on the underside resists dirt and is easy on the paintwork.

This fabric is ideal for outdoor storage since it easy to put on the vehicle, and fold and remove. Even when it is wet, it is not difficult to fold and store. We have other materials that are softer, as indicated below, but none more suited to the outdoors.

Cotton/Poly:
This material is very soft, yet very strong and durable. Please do not compare it with our competitors' cotton/polyester blended fabrics. Our Cotton/Poly is heavier, softer, and more durable. It is ideal for indoor storage and occasional outdoor storage since it is treated with a water and mildew resistant finish. It can be used for outdoor only storage, but it is not as durable as a cover made from WeatherAll; the high cotton content cannot stand up to direct sunlight over many years of use.

100% Cotton (Flannel or Non-Flannel):
This material is best suited for indoor storage. The cotton absorbs a lot of water and makes it difficult to handle when it becomes wet.

Many car collectors insist on 100% Cotton for their delicate custom paint finishes. The material is the softest available and is heavier than the Cotton/Poly. This means added protection from passers by. However, it also makes the fabric more bulky and a little more difficult to fold and store.

Q. How long does it take to make a custom cover?

A. Some of the popular patterns that are sold through our dealers, we keep in stock. Others will usually take us 2-3 weeks to cut, sew, and ship.

Q. Can a cover be made to accommodate the special body work on my car (e.g. aftermarket wing, spoiler, etc.)?

A. We can make a cover to fit any type of vehicle.

Q. Is there a logo on the front of the cover?

A. We do not place a logo or any identifying writing on the front of the cover. A red label is usually used to indicate where the front of the cover is located. This label has the care instructions on it.
